Christoph Kleineberg joined the European Centre for Advanced Studies (ECAS) as a managing director. He is taking over the responsibilities of Thorsten Kurtz who has been navigating ECAS in the foundation phase and established ECAS as the main hub for academic collaboration between Lower Saxony and Scotland. Christoph has been involved in various ECAS activities as a supporter and participant in recent years.

“I would like to thank Thorsten for the work in getting ECAS started that successfully and I am grateful for being able to work with the very dedicated team of ECAS on a variety of highly interesting as well as highly significant issues”, states Christoph Kleineberg.

The core mission of ECAS will continue to be bringing together institutions, researchers, students and staff from both regions. Additionally, ECAS should serve as a one stop shop for information on academic collaboration between Lower Saxony and Scotland.
