The Joint Forum 2020 has been a full success!

On the first day of the Joint Forum Monday, 23 November 2020, 162 participants from different institutions joined the welcoming addresses as well as panel discussions. They were joining mainly from the UK (Scotland) and Germany (Lower Saxony), but there were also participants from France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Spain and even South Africa. On the second day, Tuesday, 24 November 2020, the 23 workshops from researchers in Scotland and Lower Saxony even attracted a total number of 274 participants (some of which took part in various workshop sessions).

Update: Joint Forum 2020

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic requires flexibility and an appropriate response to the scale of infection. In order to ensure the safety of all participants in this uncertain time, the Joint Forum planned for the 23 and 24 November 2020 will no longer be organised in a hybrid format but will be held entirely online.

New Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Programme

The University of Glasgow has been awarded funding from the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union for a new Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) programme: LLM in International Law of Global Security, Peace and Development (ILGSPD). ILGSPD will spearhead an innovative approach to 21st century international legal education recognising the nexus between global security, peace and sustainable development.

Leuphana Home Sessions

The outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic earlier this year posed major challenges for all of us. The Leuphana University of Lüneburg reacted quickly and switched to digital teaching early on.
As a reaction to these changed circumstances, Leuphana’s Professional School launched a digital video series, in which researchers from different disciplines held lectures on current topics.
Six members of ECAS have also participated in this project with very interesting topics!
