Stephanie de Sousa Vieira is a Ph.D. candidate at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, where she researches Corporate Sustainability and International Law. Her work examines the extraterritorial effects of the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) on Brazil’s ESG regulatory framework. By adopting Global South perspectives, she explores how global sustainability standards can be integrated into domestic legal frameworks in a fair and constitutionally grounded way.
