Sarah English is an experienced European public affairs and economic development professional, and has been Head of Scotland Europa in Brussels since 2007. Scotland Europa helps our colleagues in Scottish Enterprise and our member organisations to engage and influence at EU-level. Together with the other Scotland House Brussels partners – the Scottish Government and Scottish Development International – we play a significant role in building Scotland’s profile in Europe, supporting effective relationship building, and helping organisations develop their international innovation collaborations to support Scottish economic development. Sarah was born in Glasgow and raised in the Scottish Highlands. She studied Law at the University of Glasgow and European Social Policy at the Universities of Bath and Roskilde, before moving to Brussels to work for Scotland.
