Riaan Philipp Schmidt is a PhD student at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (National Metrology Institute) Braunschweig. His research interests are theoretical atomic physics and the interaction of structured vector light with atoms and the transmission of structured laser beams through media.
