Rachel Guest is an Honorary Consultant Liver and Pancreas surgeon at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh. She holds a Wellcome Clinical Career Development Fellowship to research the molecular mechanisms driving biliary tract cancer and has an interest in how mutations in the metabolic genes IDH1/2 re-programme liver cells and change cell identity.
