As Deputy Director (Engineering) at the Scottish Partnership in Energy and Engineering Research & Innovation (SPEERI), he manages the engineering portfolio. Dr McGhee brings over 22 years of commercial experience from Doosan Babcock, where he led R&D teams and large multipartner technical programmes. He holds a PhD in Applied Chemistry and MBA.
Before joining SPEERI, Dr McGhee worked at the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) as the Digital Factory Business Development Lead, supporting manufacturers through advanced technical and development challenges for 5 years.
