Anne H Anderson

Professor Emerita Anne Anderson OBE FRSE, is Vice President for Research of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, Scotland’s National Academy. In this role she played a significant role in forging the strategic research partnership between Scotland and Lower Saxony. In earlier years Anne was Vice Principal at the University of Glasgow where she was involved in developing the original relationship between Leuphana University and Glasgow. A psychologist by background she has held several executive and non executive roles in research funding and international cooperation. She currently chairs the UK National Commission for UNESCO. Anne is a firm believer in the value of international collaboration in research and education.
