Dr Saleh Seyedzadeh is Head of Data and AI at The Data Lab, where he leads data science and applied AI activities across industry, academia and the public sector. His work focuses on turning advances in data and AI into practical, responsible solutions with measurable real-world impact. Saleh leads The Data Lab’s technical delivery within major national initiatives, including Scotland’s National AI Adoption Programme for SMEs, supporting businesses to identify, develop and implement valuable AI applications. He has also played a leading role in the £54 million Smart Manufacturing Data Hub, helping manufacturers across the UK use data and digital technologies to improve productivity, efficiency and sustainability. Saleh has a background spanning academia and industry and holds a PhD in Data Science in the Built Environment from the University of Strathclyde.
