Astrid Bensmann leads the Group for Energy System Analysis at the Institute of Electric Power Systems at Leibniz University Hannover. Her work focuses on, among other things, technology selection and design methods for energy systems as well as the design and flexible operation of stationary power-to-heat/cold and power-to- gas systems. Another major focus lies on the production of green hydrogen and influence of the regulatory framework on the resulting supply costs.
