Harald Barre works at the Volkswagen Foundation. In his function as Programme Direktor, he is mainly responsible for the funding programmes for collaborations between
universities in Lower Saxony and international partners. He is also in charge of the funding
programme for recently appointed professors in Lower Saxony.
He completed his Doctorate in African History in 2020.
