During the delegation visit led by Lower Saxonian Minister for Science and Culture Falko Mohrs, Prof. Dr. Angela Ittel, the chair of the Permanent Commission for Internationalisation of the Lower Saxonian Rectors’ Conference and Claire McPherson, the director of Universities Scotland, signed the Memorandum of Understanding in Edinburgh. Its aim is to increase mobility of students, young as well as senior academics from both regions. Additionally, joint research projects should be initiated and expanded. The focus of joint research are the fields of energy (transformation), life science, educational sciences, mobility and its transformation as well as security (policy).
