Professor Tim Bedford is Associate Principal for Research and Innovation and also Professor of Decision and Risk Analysis at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. Strathclyde hosts the only Fraunhofer Centre in the UK. Tim is a member of the Board of CESAER, the European Association of Universities of Science and Technology and also Chair of its Task Force on Innovation where TU Braunschweig also participates. He is working closely with colleagues at TU Braunschweig to extend the areas of collaboration in science and technology with Strathclyde, and is particularly interested in ensuring that Scottish researchers are able to continue European research collaboration post-Brexit, in Lower Saxony and elsewhere.
