Prof. Dr. James Conroy is Professor of Religious and Philosophical Education (Pedagogy, Praxis & Faith) and Dean of Global Engagement for Europe at the Universitiy of Glasgow. He is also Academic Director of ECAS and chair of the Shareholder’s Board.

David Duncan

Dr. David Duncan is the University of Glasgow’s Chief Operating Officer and University Secretary. Prior to this, David was Registrar and Secretary at the University of York, a post he held for 8 years. Before then he was Secretary of the University of Dundee from 2001-8. David is a graduate of the University of Aberdeen and holds a Masters degree and a PhD in history from Queen’s University, Canada.

Burkhardt Funk

Prof. Dr. Burkhardt Funk is professor for information systems at Leuphana University. His research interests encompass building statistical models and decision support systems based on methods from machine learning and Bayesian statistics in a variety of application contexts such as E-Health and E-Commerce.

Moritz Dütemeyer holds the esteemed position of deputy Head of Unit for European and International Affairs at the Ministry of Science and Culture for Lower Saxony (MWK) since December 2022. His previous professional experience includes being entrusted with the role of Head of the Minister’s and State Secretary’s office in the MWK. From 2014 to 2020, he was an adviser on Foreign and Constitutional Affairs at the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg.

Rachel Sandison is Vice Principal, External Relations at the University of Glasgow. Rachel’s responsibilities include strategic leadership for domestic and international student recruitment; international affairs and partnership development; marketing, brand and reputation; undergraduate and postgraduate admissions; fundraising & alumni relations; and widening participation. Rachel is a chartered marketer and a CASE Global Trustee. She is a member of the Universities Scotland International Committee and sits on anumber of sector advisory boards. She is the University of Glasgow’s senior leader for the Universitas 21 network and The Guild of European Research
Intensive Universities.
